About
Elizabeth writes mainly children's fantasy, though she does have a few adult books which are mainly spiritual in theme.
Elizabeth has always been in touch with her inner child, loving all things sparkly and is a Disney NUT.
She has never lost her sense of wonder. One day she was in the woods near her home, picking flowers to make a daisy chain, when she saw a fairy. Just like the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, Elizabeth decided to follow the fairy - it spent ages playing in the water, not far from where she was sat. When Elizabeth asked its name, it replied DANA.
Now, many years later, Elizabeth volunteers, teaching children both reading and creative writing. She loves interacting with the children as they often provide the best inspiration. A few years ago, she wrote her second novel (but first published) Dana and the Moonbeams. She wrote it in just 3 weeks!
Elizabeth finds inspiration in the simplest things. Her favourite way to come up with stories is to go for a walk along the promenade and on the beach near where she lives. As she walks, listening to the sea swishing and swooshing, telling her its stories, she finds she can drop into a meditative state. As a result, countless stories have been inspired in this way. One in particular, which may come out in 2025 was inspired by an image that are to her of a young girl sat on a sand dune, looking out to sea. She looked so sad that Elizabeth had to find out what her story was.
Elizabeth really wants this book to do well because she wants to donate to two special charities.
